Step 1: Select and purchase the digital single online. You will need PayPal* to buy it. (If you're not already signed up with PayPal, just continue and we'll automatically take you there).

Step 2: After payment, you will be transferred to a webpage containing a link to download the single. You will also receive two emails: one email confirming payment and another email containing the download link. Download the single via the link on the webpage or the email.

* PayPal is digital money. It lets you buy things on the Internet and you can have the money deducted from your checking account or credit card. Once you signup for PayPal, you can buy things using only your e-mail address.

DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS

Where is the download product?
You will receive an email receipt with a download link inside. Double click on this link to access the website from where you will download your music. Double click on the button / link on this page to begin the download process.

What are the system requirements for downloading and playing the MP3 file downloads?
Hardware Requirements:
_Pentium 266Mhz processor or faster
_Minimum 32MB RAM (Win98/Me), 64MB (Windows 2000)
_50MB of free hard disk space
_Sound card
_Speakers
_Network or Internet connection (Recommended 56K or higher)

* Playing digital content can be CPU intensive and quality may be affected if system resources are low or if multiple applications are running simultaneously

How long does it take to download a track?
It depends on your connection speed, the file size of the track, and Internet traffic. Estimated times to complete an average-sized download (3Mb) are as follows:

What if I click on the link in the email and it does not work?
Before contacting help, try the following two methods:

  • Launch a browser first then click on the link
  • Launch a browser, copy the link, paste the link in the browser (paste only the "http://payloadz.com/d?i=MB%2DThat%2D128" line into the browser)

    I bought the MAC version of the file. How do I "unstuff" it?
    First, make sure you have the "unstuff" software by checking your system or downloading it from here: www.stuffit.com/downloads.html. Second, when you click on the link to download the music, a .sit folder will be downloaded for you to "unstuff." Run "extract files" and select the folder to save these files to. Launch files and play.

    I bought the PC version of the file. How do I "unzip" it?
    First, make sure you have the "WinZip" software by checking your system or downloading it from here: www.winzip.com. Second, when you click on the link to download the music, a .zip folder will be downloaded for you to "unzip." Run "extract files" and select the folder to save these files to. Launch files and play.

    After "unstuffing" or "unzipping" a file, what if the tracks do not end in .mp3?
    If the track does not end in .mp3, it will not play. Go to the folder where this track is saved. Right click on the track and select "rename." Add the .mp3 to the end of the track name and left click to end the process. The track should play.

    What if my download process is interrupted?
    If the track download is interrupted for any reason (i.e. knocked offline, hit wrong button), you can return to the original link and start the process over. The machine will recognize that a partial download has completed and it will start at this point rather than at the beginning. If you receive a prompt for "This file is already saved, would you like to replace it?," click Yes and continue the download process.

    Hollywood Records downloads are encoded in MP3 format at 192 kbps for premium quality.

    What can I do with an MP3 file?
    Once downloaded, the digital file can be played on your computer, burned to a CD or transferred to a portable device.

    What software player is required for me to play the MP3 files?
    Any standard software media player supports MP3 files. If you do not have a software player on your system, we recommend the following players (click on the link to download the player):

  • WinAmp
  • Windows Media Player
  • Real Player

    Are tracks available to consumers in international territories?
    Yes.

    What type of payment do you accept?

    How do I know if PayPal received my payment?
    You will receive a PayPal receipt within a few minutes of your purchase. In addition, you can log into your PayPal account and see your transactions under "History."

    I purchased a track, but forgot where I saved it. What do I do?
    You can re-download the file from the link inside your email receipt. If not, on a PC, search your Windows Explorer for all MP3 files. It will show you the location of them.

    How do I play a track once I've downloaded it?
    Playing your track is simple: just open the folder where you saved your track, and double-click on the track you want to hear.

    Do I need to be connected to the Internet to play this track?
    No. Once you have downloaded a song, you do not need to be connected to the Internet to play it.

    What software do I need to playback a track?
    You need a media player installed to play this track. We recommend WinAmp, Windows Media Player or Real Player. Click here to download one if you do not have it on your computer:

    BURNING TRACKS TO CD
    Can I burn my tracks to a CD?
    Yes, you can burn your track once to a recordable compact disc (CD-R or CD-RW).

    What additional System Requirements do I need to burn to CD?
    To burn your tracks to CD, you will need a CD recorder and blank CDs to which you can copy.

    If you use the Microsoft Media Player, it should contain the Windows Media Player Adaptec CD-Burning component. (This is usually installed as part of Windows Media Player. If you do not have this component installed, you can click on "Check For Player Upgrades" on the Help menu in Windows Media Player and install it.)

    How do I burn my tracks to a CD?
    Your player may have its own software, in which case you should follow that application's instructions. The following instructions describe how to use Microsoft Media Player.

  • In Microsoft Media Player, create a playlist of the tracks you want to burn to CD.
  • Then, choose "Copy to CD" from the File menu.
